Dr. Daniela Perrone (Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Research Associate at the University of Ferrara, Department of Biology and Evolution)
After many years research work on the field of biologically active compounds, since 2006 she's working on oligonucleotide synthesis leading the laboratory.
Dr. Lara Mari (Ph. D. in Organic Chemistry)
Lara Mari acquired her knowledge on modified oligonucleotide chemistry during her Ph.D studies at University of Ferrara. In 2009 she has obtained a grant by Consorzio Spinner Bologna for the development of a new enterprise activity focused on the synthesis and purification of oligonucleotides.
Dr. Elena Marchesi (Ph. D. in Analytical and Inorganic Chemistry)
After her studies concerning the synthesis of new radiopharmaceuticals, since January 2009 she works in the field of oligonucleotides synthesis and purification by a grant from Consorzio Spinner Bologna focused to the development of a new enterprise activity.
Dr. Massimo Capobianco (Chemist, 1st researcher at Institute for the organic synthesis and photoreactivity National Council of Research - ISOF-CNR - Bologna)
He has several years of experience in the synthesis of natural, modified and conjugated oligonucleotides, he has worked on antisense applications, on the triple-helix strategy patenting daunomycin-oligonucleotide conjugates, and recently he has developed a new class of fluorescent oligonucleotides made upon conjugation with oligothiophene derivatives. |
